Blondie is a gorgeous 11 month old German Shepherd. Almost fully grown and weighing 70lbs,  she has a plush coat that is easy to maintain with brushing at home which she greatly enjoys, especially when she gets her treats.   She does love the companionship of other dogs but can be a little overbearing for some dogs so she may do better with another playful yet submissive medium/large male dog.  Although she has been living with 3 indoor cats, her curiosity and desire to chase them has been a bit too much to trust her completely.  Blondie had been living with 2 young kids but would probably be better with experienced teenagers or just adults as her strong personality still needs more firm but loving work and training.  She knows basic commands and is an attentive fast learner.  She does walk well on leash but still needs more practice containing her excitement around other dogs.  Despite the puppy energy she still has, she is quite content to spend lots of time in the house laying around on the cool tiles or her bed and playing with her toys.  She's prefers to keep her "pack" company in their bedroom at night and she's been trained to not jump on furniture unless invited.   Blondie has a great heart with a strong but beautiful personality and she needs a strong experienced dog owner who wants a loyal companion with whom to share their time and love.
